Window tint
hey everyone, i want to tint my own windows but im unsure of just a few things. First, is the tint u can buy at canadian tire or walmart any good to use? Second, right now it is winter and its about -17 c outside, but i do have a garage that i can do the tinting in, so is it smart to tint them right now. And last question, i know the tint from canadian tire instructions say to cut the tint into large strips when fitting to the window if the window has any concave, is this correct? The car im doig it on is a 1994 cx hatch, so it doesnt look to hard

RE: Window tint
i run a 15% on my windows which is pretty dark. there are pics of it in my gallery. i would suggest going to a shop because doing it yourself is such a pain in the *** and usually doesnt turn out that good. you always get bubbles and it just looks bad within months.

If you can get 5% all the way around and not get hassled by the fuzz do it!
Here in cali 5% for the rear and 30% for the front looks good doesnt get you pulled over and keeps your car cooler when its hot
