so i'm thinking about getting 20% tint on my windows, but i'm worried about getting pulled over by the cops..how high are the chances of getting pulled over do ya think? 35% is the legal limit here but everyone has darker it seems.

I live in NYC and its 35% here too.

on my old mazda mx6 i had 20% and i thought it was actually to dark. im going 25% this time with a limo band on the front window..

Thanks for that link, i always thought it was 35% but it seems to be 30% in nyc. Looks like my 25% might not be so bad after all..

 

hell here in VA is 50 % front and 35% rear and theyre usually pretty strict on this **** on here

 

I am in KY, i think 25% is legal here, maybe.. I dunno but my car has it, i never get bothered. if your out causing trouble you might get a ticket for it, if an officer has no other reason to ticket you. I wouldn't worry with 25, just dont go too much lower.

 

what do u have done to your car. if your car is sticking out now i wouldn't do it. mine use to stick out and i had them tinted and u will get the import hating cops that can't find anything to pull u over but tint so they will pull you for the tint and try to find something else. after i took off my tint i don't get stopped..

 

i still dont get it...........how do you plan on passing inspections? Screw the police, thats the reason why i cant convince myself to go lower than 35% lol
