Hey guys. Im getting my windows tinted like in two weeks. My friend told me to get 20% in the front and 5% in the back. I have a 4 door dx. I dont want anyone being able to see in my car, what i have in it. What is you'll opinions on this? I checked 2 places and the prices i got from the first were: $190+$20 for the 5% since its limo tint. The second place i got: $210+$10 i think. Do these sound like average prices for what i want. Can i get it done for under $200 and get some good work done. I dont want to go to a $99 place like my friend said he saw, seems too low and if it bubbles ill be mad.

that kind of expensive, they shouldnt charge u extra cause its limo tint, i would go with 20 all around, its dark but u can still see in it a little, depends on the tint paper, i would get 20 cause cops go harder the darker the tints, but anyway as far as the price u can find it for cheaper, i paid $150 for all the tints and it came with a lifetime warranty, incluided any peeling,fading or bubbles, also go to reputable place

 

i got limo all the way around for about $200.
20% you can see a sihlouette
5% you cant see anything
(most of the time)

 

It really depends on the cops in your area and how much running into the law you are willing to handle. Ive been pulled over quite a few times for tint but usually get warnings. Tint has even saved me from getting a speeding ticket. Lucky me.

ive got 35% its nice, at night u cant see in, during the day its kidna privacy kinda not, suitable

 

35% is the legal limit in Maryland

 

well in new york cops go hard, and in new york their is no legal limit, all tints are illegal [:@]

 

I live in New York also, I am almost positive that you can have any kind of tint you want on the rear windows as long as you have side mirrors and i thought that you could go to 35% on the front.
