wow those scratches suck, did the ad say anything about them? I'd be kinda pissed.....

IMO you can install the trunk lip itself, its real easy, and then maybe get some Scratch-X and some touch up paint/wax and see what you can do with it.

 

Well I got it put on call me stupid for doing it but I had a body shop put it on. I didnt feel comfortable drilling my trunk myself. I cant get stuff even worth ****. But here are the installed pics, I think after a small drop and possibly some sort of lip kit, and maybe some smoked side markers the exterior will be complete. Enojoy the pics.....

looks good.... ive been considering selling my SI trunk lid and spoiler..... i got it listed for 150bucks... i paid 125bucks for it but also drove like a 8-10hour round trip drive to get it.LOL

hum.... pics of yours is making me THINK i might keep it and slap it on.....

tho with mine i want to keep my stock lid... just incase i dont like the spoiler i can simply swap back.....

tho my civic is painted with a black with blue flake in it and the si lid is stock flamen black... so not sure if it would be noticably different which is whats realy keeping me from slapen mine on... but just the same... preaty bad scratches here and thier.... i just got some touch up paint and coated it down REALY GOOD... and i was just gonna sand it smooth and buff it back to a shine and HOPE it looks ok as is..

sweet deal man. im sorta wishing my car didnt have the wing because my subs rattle it so bad, and it sounds bad from the outside haha, but it definitly looks good, and btw, im lovin those rims!

 

i like the 4dr civics w/o the spoilersa and the 2dr with it .. idk why

 

if it rattles just go buy some gasket material or some thin like cork material..... take off the spoiler and take off the original gasket material and trace it onto the new material and leave alittle extra material cause usualy the material shrinks over time... just remember you can always take it off and cut alittle of it off... but cannt add alittle
then tighten the spoiler back down.... and your rattling shouldnt be as bad at all...... but if it does then look into some spray foam to spray inside the trunk lid just dont get the over expanding foam... and tape up the holes and shove some rags or cotton ***** in the holes as well so the foam cannt expand and come out those holes geting on everything!



or do like me and do a front firing subsetup and eliminate just about ALL rattling but it helps ALOT to have a decent SQ sub
