Im thinking the same. I might bring it up tomorrow with my dad and see what he thinks about me getting them. Otherwise ima have to wait til college :/

 

Just be like "dad i want to get rid of my ricer taillights". If your dad likes cars then you saying that will probably be music to his ears.

My dad build old school muscle cars. He has a 57 Bel Air, 37 Coupe, 64 Imapala SS, and is also working on a GTO on the side.....

But for some dam reason he thinks aftermarket ricer trash is nice looking on hondas, WTH makes me so mad. When I was looking for cars he kept saying, "oooh Jason look at this another del sol just like yours" so I look and its all kitted with a wing.

He doesnt know what a ricer is.... He never saw fast and furious. /rant

 

Eh, no worries dude. I'm not a big fan of the stock tailights on most cars, the just plain white and red ones to me look like they were just slapped on as an afterthought. Looking at them now they do look a wee bit too much. Now if you could find some like the ones on the newer Nissan Altima (like here: http://z.about.com/d/cars/1/0/G/q/ag..._taillight.jpg) that would be sick.

they look alright on the Altima they are made for... but that style on a Civic would be gross. In fact, the ones he already has look similar to the Altima taillights. Obviously he doesn't want that style so I don't know why you even suggested it.
