i thought i saw somthing on here about changing your fog lights to a yellow color, i couldnt find it... so does anybody know how i could do this? do the lenses come off easily? and can i just paint em with a thin coat of yellow?

 

painting them just doesnt seem to be such a good idea. there is some kind of yellow film you can put over them but im not real sure how effective it is. other than that, new bulbs is the only other thing i can think of.

 

they have a film out. kinda like a tint that will do that for you. why do you want yellow?

i saw some yellow ones... and liked em. its also the only legal color for maine.

 

theres the legality issues, then theres the fact that some of the JDM ones(REAL jdm, not ebay jdm) are yellow.



I just don't like the way they look. For some reason the yellow makes them look cheap to me. To each his own.

 

Technically fog lights are yellow and clear lights are driving lights ... so there shouldn't be any legal issues ... especially since a lot of cars come with yellow fogs from the factory.

 

there alot of people who drive around with bright yellow fog lights and they point them down, so its a big yellow patch infront of there car at night..looks like underbody lights kinda

 

They make them yellow for a reason, yellow, followed by blue and then green are the best colors for use with fog lights. The color yellow doesn't reflect off the fog making it easier to see through.
