yesss
i got home from school today and started messin with my taillights that i thought were screwed. it took me 2 hours to get them back pretty much normal. but i think they are all good now. ill post some new pics when i get them on my car. im sure it will look alot better just like you guys said. oh yea, i strongly suggest nobody tinting their taillights with spray unless you are ready for some WORK to get it off. i know there wont be any more of that going on mine. what kind of stuff do i need to use to clean them and shine them a little more. maybe some sort of wax or something...?
lol mine r tinted, i made sure i wanted that way b4i did em cuz i figured the work would b hard, ill jus buy new ones if i ever feel like a change, that way i have 2 sets just in case, especially if i cant get my inspection sticker because of them, i could jus put the stockers on for the inspection then swap em out lol
Wally mart sells those little polishing kits, they are a rip off for 10 bucks, but they hook into your drill and you just mist them with water and they go to work. That might help a little, but you could probably just buy some polishing pads and or some really good degreaser or something.
If its that glue gunk you are dealing with, vodka will take off some of it, maybe all of it. But It probably isn't the best thing for the paint, so use it sparingly.
It's funny what you figure out when your drinking :-)

lol yea i saw them tonight. i really didnt see anything that stood out at me though so i didnt get anything....so nobody has ever cleaned their taillights with anything to make them shine?
check it out - my taillights are finally done. after i got them all cleaned up, i put meguiars plastx polish on there and it made them shine pretty good. doesnt this look better than the tinted ones?
