About a week ago, I was bored in Concord, and went to the Honda dealership there. They only had an LX in stock. I put my name on a waiting list for the ralley red Si, but the salesmen told me it probably would be about 6 months. I told him Id take it in any color, with or without navi if he could find me one within the month, and he said theres like no way that he can.

I also think its funny when people think they know a lot about cars. Since I have been looking for new cars and what not, of course conversation comes up about the Si. And then when Im talking to people (guys usually) about buying a car, they ask, "Uh, do you know how to drive a manual??" Im always like, didnt I just tell you that I sold an Si?? The funny part is when I say that I just sold one, they always talk about how much they like Si's and what not. Have fun proving your friend wrong. I love when I get to do it, especially to boys. (no offense fellas!) And not like I could even prove anyone wrong here, you guys know like EVERYTHING. haha.

I took one for a test drive a couple days ago. I must say, it's a VERY fun car. I know the salesmen fairly well, as I talked to him for years before I actually bought my civic from him. He always used to call everytime they got a new 99-00 Si, or Ex. Anyway, he came with me for the ride, and gave me the go ahead to "test 'er out." So, I did just that. Right by where I work there is a about a 60-70 degree left hand turn, shortly followed by a nice little chicane, which I went into so fast I had the dude holding on to anything he could grasp I came into it at about 40, and after the lefty just punched the gas through the chicane, it was awesome. The car pretty much goes exactly where you want it to, when you want it to.

I was impressed to say the least.....

no no no no....never! if you had any type of idea about what you are talking about any of you that would even think of an si being auto! man....they are coming out with a four door in the next yr or so...that one could come with that option....but NO never has an si been automatic!
