Default 09 Civic LX-S question

I certainly hope this forum will be more mature compared to the last one I was on. I am a potential Civic owner and didn't get one single help on the other site, but immature answers that went way off topic and a lot of flaming occured. That was not a good way to show class, especially for a newbie like me coming in for the first time. First impression helps......and they just don't realize it.

But anyways, my question is simple. I'm looking to buy an 09 Civic LX-S as the title implies for this post. I got a proposed deal of $19,500 with 3.9% APR for 5 years with no down payment. The total out the door is like $26,500. Do you guys think this is a good deal? Or too high? I like some input on this seeing that decisions can generally be made in great numbers.

What are some deals you guys got in the past?

Oh, have you guys heard about the cracked engine blocks for the 06-06 Civic? I saw it on the other forum and I certainly hope it won't happen to the 09 in the long run!!!

$26,500 out the door is way to high i had a 08 lx auto sedan i got for $20,400 out the door. i would shop around if you have other honda dealers around to get a better price also if they have a add on sticker for what they call a pro pack or paint protection have them take that off. also where i live honda sales are way down and the dealers around me will haggle over the price i just bought a 09 fit sport auto that listed for $17,585 i got it for $700. below msrp. good luck and welcome to the forum.

I'm surprised they're not offering 0% in your area, 2009 Civics in my city are 0%, and $1000 automatically off if you presently own a Civic. I'm sure the catch to the $1000 of is if you pay sticker...

If you want a newer civic what's wrong with buying a 07 or 08 Si that'll be a handful less than that $19k?
