1990 Prelude
Hey guys
I just found out that my friend will be getting a 1990 Honda Prelude (manual) very soon for about $300 from a friend's father. The car has about 114K miles on it and i told him that he was gettin a pretty good deal on it. I also told him that a really good idea would be to swap a bulletproofed H22 motor. I told him that the enigne + swap + internals + labor should cost him around 5k. Just wondering what you guys think and any other ideas you might have. My friend is tryin to build a car that can be daily driven but still rip the road up on occasion.

How much do you think its gonna run for that motor with all the good stuff? I think its a good idea to swap the H22 cause its gets 220HP and that prelude looks pretty small so it should be light and got with handlign.
sweet deal man! I'd estimate that if you want to go all out with beefed internals on a swap, plus labor and all those little extra expenses a long the way, you're probly looking at more in the area of 7k. But for that 7k he will have a damn nice car.
first off, been researchin the h22 for the last 3 months. Only h22a type sh jdm has 220 hp. h22a has only 200. But if ur gonna spend money on an sh, u can get a civic typr r for around the same price and plus its a nicer engine. and the prelude already has h22. but 5k does sound like a good estimate.
