which xbox should i look for, i see pro, elite, arcade. so confusing. which is a good system to get

they're all the same thing, with different options
think of it as buying a car, and those are the different trim levels

 

Im definately interested in doing online racing, if I can ever find the time. I probably suck though compared to some of your guys standards.

 

lol i suck at the game i barely win every race after like 3 tries with an A class car racing against D and C class cars on easy lol i havent even tried the game near medium difficulty forget that :P

 

Sounds good Ill be checking out ebay tonight and finding myself the cheapest copy/disc of the game I can find and a game topic area in the forum might actually be good. Im a member of beyond.ca (An automotive forum mainly imports for Alberta province where I live) they have a game topic area that seems to work and you can sell your old/new gaming things on there as well

Also I have NO idea how to do the tuning at all. Not suspension, not gearing, not a bit. I usually just get the most power i can, the stickiest tires possible and floor it on the straight away and brake hard at corners, hoping I can make it.

However i now run without ABS and only use TCS on cars with retarded ammounts of power (see the Hennesy 800/TT viper). And am learning teh fine art of heal and toe =P

i have no patience for braking when taking corners... i'll get used to it

i think i'll get better once i am able to tune the car

 

lol speakin of tuning cars. I just made a 350z drift car. Cannot go for dick in a straight line but effin epic in the turns goin slideways

 

I vote for not counting the penalties against us. I have been playing the demo and I have been getting hit by other drivers and knocked off the track, and getting time penalties. I feel that that should not count against us.

Also, when we get off the track by accident it is often hard to get back on without spinning out. I don't see why the penalty for being off the track should count against us more when it already causes us to get further behind in the race as it is.

Because of these types of controversial penalties, I propose that we completely ignore the penalties and the winner is the first person to cross the finish line, as the game was designed.

 

are there assists in the game too? I think we should decide what assisting driving features we can use, if we should all drive 5spd. lol etc I like that 94 vti I think someone mentioned. That will be my weapon I like the srt-4 suprisingly also in the demo more so then that RSX
