i was a little disappointed to see that they now allow domestics in the racing events. the rwd pro outlaw class was mostly mustangs and f bodies...although they werent the fastest in the class...my first thought was that it would bring in people like myself, who were domestic V8 owners who have a respect for imports, but i saw shirts and such about "eating rice"...

^^i hate that crap, a true enthusiast would accept all..."eating rice" bs...man i get so much of that from mustang and camaro enthusiast here in fl...but enough of that, great pics man, looks like fun...

i did not race..the bracket 15 class looked so terrible, that i considered racing my rental neon...someone else was, and that guy, dialing 17.55, made it to the finals..

im considering next year taking the white car to run bracket 14...the air was great, i wish that i would have had one of my cars there...by this time next year i hope to have the demon done, and might have the stroker built for the white car, so i might be one of the guys driving domestics at an import event...

nice pics pat, my g/f would love the pink civic. she said if she ever drove a civic that it would have to be pink. lol...ya pat hit me up too because i would love to go out to nopi this spring. i dont like that they are letting domestics in the classes now, nopi is all about the import scene and i dont like what they are doing. looks like you had a good time though man.

Here are some other pictures from the event...non-honda..

a chomed out busa.

turbo M5

A turbo neon (non-srt4)

a couple very fast mustangs..

this one ran in the 7s with street tires

a little domestic rice

brent rau's record holding eclipse pulled apart

and with the wheels up...around the 330' mark...this was a run in the low 7s..i believe like a 7.20

a couple evo 1s

the "pure evo"

another evo..his tags read "V8HAHA"

john shepards 7 second talon

a fairly plain looking 9 second eclipse

a single turbo supra, and its dyno numbers, with and without the bottle

two of the three AAP supras

a few nissan 300ZXs

and interesting avenger

a six second firebird

and a raggedy neon that had no place in a car show.
