look at the gear ratios and the torque...still think the mustangs a better car? the 350Z is more expensive for a reason
The mustang gets 320lbs of torque to the 350s 274lbs.

LOL
it sounded funny that an American car would make less torque than a japanese car so i had to go look it up myself.
I still think that the mustang is teh better car

true about the price difference, but when you buy a 350z over a new mustang, you still have some class...

the new stang was designed by middle aged men who wish they had a classic stang FOR middle aged men and women who wish they had a classic stang...theyre basically posers...and they are shunned in the mustang community.

Speaking of 350z did you guys know that Nisssan is importing the skyline gt-r to the u.s? The skyline in in the u.s will be under Infinite badge instead of Nissan. It comes with a 3.5L twin turbo 450hp. It will have intelligent all wheel drive, allowing torque splits ranging from 100 percent to the rear wheels to a 50/50 front/rear. Pricing will be around $70,000 and should be here around 2006 or 2007.

I'm 17 and wish i drove a classic mustang and all my buddies like teh new stang as well.
And about teh skyline, what i heard a year or so back was that the infiniti skylines were suppose to be a 350 (or G35 couple as Infiniti calls it) that has a turbo. It isn't styled like a skyline, but it styled like a 350. It was a long time ago that i heard that and don't really remember who told me.

^that actually makes some sense. A couple months ago, in an issue of Import Tuner, there was a S I C K infinity G35 with "SKYLINE" tags on it in random spots. One of those spots, was the head of the engine. I thought maybe they just swapped in a Skyline engine, which they could have, but it looked liek it was made to fit the G35 engine bay a little TOO well.

Was the G35 from Infinity or was it built by some guy?

Yeah the imported skyline does look kinda like the Infinite G35 coupe but im not sure if it will be exactly like that in the u.s. The one i saw was from europe.
