Fast and Furious three is taping .6 miles away form my front door. I had been driving and noticed allt eh trailers and whatnot on the side of the road. They took over a desert lot with a bunch of acres. It is kind of cool cause they brought some nice cars. Not even cars fromt he movie but the drivers and extras. They had an open extra call and I thought about it but I had school so a no go. I know the movie will prolly butcher drifting but it is still cool that the beginning mexico scenes are being taped half a mile from my house. And I was at work today (I am a custodian at a large church) and I was escorting the Fire Department around, (they were inspecting new add-ons) and they get a call that the fast and furious guys caught something on fire. It was funny cause I guess it has been happening a lot. Anyways thought I woudl let you know how cool I am I will sign some autographs later or something. Peace.

you might think they're stupid, but they did amazing things for aftermarket support for cars like mine. pre-F&F, the aftermarket for any corolla from the AE92 chassis to the current chassis back then(AE110 i believe) was absolutely nil. now, thanks to those movies, a bit more is available.
besides...they're entertaining to watch while drunk...and it's fun watching the idiots in the parking lot afterward. i think this year i'm going to bring a bag of popcorn and just sit outside watching the kids try to drift out of the parking lot in their FWD heavy sedans and pickup trucks(you know it'll happen...).

^Definitely sweet. I took a vacation to Aspen with my family way back when, and they were taping Dumb and Dumber. I actually watched the scene where they were driving the little bike into town all frozen looking.
