too manymods that it might be unreliable or is this a decent car? Should I even bother or are they a troublesome car? Ive read mixed reviews so Im not sure, but I think this would be one of the faster 5.0 around here. I didn't really know where else I would be able to find answers besides researching so Ill just ask my fellow honda enthusiasts

 

Thats a lot of miles. Fords dont last as long like hondas do.

 

I'm not a Ford fan but the Fox body Mustangs, even with their outdated technology, can be built very fast for very cheap. The 5.0L's can last quite along time if taken care of and if the mods are done right. You may think Honda's last a long time but Ford and GM smallblock V8's are the ultimate long term motor for a passenger vehicle or light duty truck. But any engine wil last long if taken care of. so it's debatabe to the point of death and i would rather not have that happen right now.

 

lol i had a 1989 lx 5.0 with 190.000 miles and it had a 200 shot of nitrous i had it till it had over 240.000 miles and its still on the road with the original short block with over 300.000 on it.
imo i think they want to much money for it, with all the mods listed it could have drive abilty issues

 

well the motor is covered in rice.LOL

but like any car you realy have to go check it out... and when you do try to look at it in the morning and kinda feel the motor if its cold or already warmed up. if its warmed up it might have some cold starting issues.....

i love the exterior style BUT the interior style just sucks IMO tho is a great race car platform because the dash has alot of large flat surfaces for gauges...
but just not my style.

 

Well first the car only has 86000 miles (for U.S.) so its not too bad. Second I would not be buying this car for comfort or interior styles, this would be a drag strip car eventually for our local meets every week in the summer. However I did plan on using it on the street and based on what each of you guys said (and I know I can trust hcf, lol) I don't think I will bother. I was kind of afraid also of drivability issues because of the mods, I think Ill be safe and keep looking for now. Thanks everyone for your opinions

I think you should stay away from that stang. It doesn't seem very good. What's your budget for a faster car?

 

Lol the air filter is all bent up. I wonder what else is done cheaply....other than the painted interior
