so, night b4 last, im playin pool(after i get a new battery/alternator) get done, go out to the crx, MY DAMN HOOD PINS ARE GONE, i make a couple, go get drunk, then yesterday i am on my way to my friends house 20minutes outta town, and the makeshift pins go through the holes in the hood, and my hood flys up into my damn window, so, i got no hood and a phucked up window... but on the bright side i got a new battery/alternator... ( i hate the hicks here in MT[:@]) i know it was a hick cause they were parked next to me with beer bottles everywhere...but yea[:@][:@][:@]...

 

wow idk even know what to say. that sucks man, hope everything turns out ok....

 

now thats some bad luck right there....

and another lession we all learn...dont use DIY hood pins!

 

you could have gone to a shop that sells roof racks or boat trailers... or go to a walmart and got a new set of pins for next to nothing.

 

that same happend to me once to, so i know how u feel.

Why don't those hoods have normal latches? I always thought they did and had the hood pins for extra precaution/look.

<---what hoods?(mine is a normal hood, well was...) the latch broke a while back tho.... nuthin was open either, besides wallmart, and i never seen any there so...plus i was broke so...goin to the junk yard tomorrow, see what they have, hopefully a integra, besides a crx, so i can get the front end of the teg...(doin a 93+ integra front end swap asap!!!)
