Wow, just when you thought the Les Paul couldn't get any sweeter. Am a bassist myself; but damn that's impressive!

Sweet...

but is it sad that the feature I'd appreciate most is the whole self-tuning thing? I hate tuning, especially on my electric... I can't go one song without at least two strings going slightly flat [:@]

that is pretty cool with self tuning and such, I dont know if I would spend the money on something like this, I would rather get a manual tuning guitar for this price, im sure this price is for the technology incorporated into it. My two cents anyways...... and im a hardcore Jackson/ESP fan anyways, lol[8D]

Actually, when you think about it, it's not much more expensive than a lower level (Gibson) LP... I mean what's the cheapest (non-Epiphone) LP you can buy? $1200? But I'd honestly just buy an LP Studio and spend the difference on things that my band actually needs... like a PA system lol

I'm the same way, always changing my tuning. However, unless you can enter your own presets, this guitar would do me absolutely no good. The two main tunings i play in, aren't even an option on this thing. [:@]

I find it over-kill... like the self-parallel-parking car.
I play a Jackson Dinky Reversewith Floyd Rose locking tremolo. Doesn't go out of tune. I don't know why they would incorporate a self-tuning guitar on a non-tremolo bridged guitar. I don't find they get out of tune as easily as a strat-style non-locking bridge. Tuninga guitar isn't really that hard.

It's a waste of money but, I think Gibsons are overpriced anyway.
