I have to side with Agent on this one. People really don't know when they have had enough to drink. Yea I guess that i should have named the thread People in general can't drive. Oh well.......where i am from in NC there are more old people PER capa than in the state of florida. So more often then not it's old people who think that we should just get off the road and surrender the whole thing to them. which is a load of crap

so very true and i agree with agent to when people drink they don't know when to stop. the people here in knoxville are idiots i can be going 75mph in the slow lane and get passed like i'm standing still. oh i love the people on cell phones and muti tasking while doing 90mph

truth be know... lots of people between the ages of 16 and dead can't drive.. it is more so a matter that new drivers should have to take a test every so often until they are deemed competent enough to drive on their own, and IMO peoples medical history that can effect their driving should be know to places like insurance and the police, so that if someone is deemed not eligable to drive that they should be taken off the road completely. or if they should have to redo a driving evaluation every so often to ensure that they are up to the rigors of driving... cause some people young and old should not be driving period...

^Thats what I mean, most younger people drive like that. I admit, I used to. Til I got enough tix to make me broke for a while. Crying only worked for so long, when you get pulled over. I remember a time, I was driving to bart to meet friends to go to the city for the day, and I was doing my makeup while making my way thru the bay area traffic. Really, now that I look back, I think that 16 is a little young to get a license. Just because A LOT (NOT ALL) are not mature enough to handle that responsibility yet. Too many kids take risks, and ruin their lives, and other innocent peoples lives.

I don't try and multi task when i'm driving. I don't have a cell phone so that isn't a problem, i don't do make up or shave or anything else. The only thing i do is change the radio stations (i got the buttons memorized) and i don't even have to look away for that. When i'm going 90mph, the only thing that i care about is the road.

i too don't do any of that stuff.. if i get a call on my phone i either call them back later, or pull over to talk to them, and when it comes to changing CD's i only do that at a red light, when i have enough time too

old people suck at drivng, so do young people that think they can drive but are an accedent waiting to happen. people that constently drive with cell phones to there ear should be shot. but what really gets me is tourist! those damn bastards that come from FL to NC and drive 5 mph then stop in the middle of the road on a blind/sharp curve to take a picture of a friggen leaf!!!

i have this headset and it's on auto answer, that way i never have to touch the thing while i am driving. that helps a lot. i hardly ever change Cds while i am driving. its hard enough just trying to everyone elses driving.
