i got linkin parks live cd on my christmas list---there good ---& thats comming from a 43yo guy

 

anyone gotten the mashup with Jay-Z? i liked it, but only 5 or 6 songs, you cant just leave it in, it gets repetitive. and yeah, i dont have 10000 fists, but im loving the stuff they are playing on the radio from it. im going to have to pick that up after chistmas.

 

My favorite rock band is Spineshank. I used to have to do a 30 min drive to college and i would crank there music up and drive 80-90 while headbanging there. I bet people that saw me doing this were like WTF, is he crazy.

 

haha, I have a tendency to do the same thing. Spineshank is an awesome band, even my girlfriend likes them and she doesnt care too much for songs with significant amounts of screaming. And yes, they've been known to induce the lead foot on me as well.

I havent listened to a Linkin Park album since their second one came out. I liked it a lot, but then I just kinda lost track of them..

 

Been trying to find another good heavy rock band to listen to. Tried this band called Goblin C**k and they were nothing like i thought it would be, kinda slow but there band members names are funny. I need a band that loves SCREAMING and instrument pounding and have good lyrics.

 

I guess Im the odd man out, but Im not a Linkin Park fan, although "Faint" is a good song, with a better video, but thats about it.

A friend of mine bought the Jay-Z/LP split, and I was really not into it, which surprised me a litttle, because both Jay-Z and LP are talented musicians, but the mix was just bland.

by the sounds of it, exactly what you're looking for. Download the songs "Square Nothing" and "My Sweet Shadow." Those will give you an acurate depiction of their style/sound. They have a LOT of music out, and its all really good IMO.

Their basically a heavy, mostly screaming, guitar shredding band that kicks MAJOR *** live. I caught them at Ozzfest this past year, but I was really far away from the stage, and they only got to play 5 songs. I'll be seeing them Headline their own tour in early February in Detroit. Hell, if you like 'em and want to go to the show, let me know and we can tear it up.[sm=icon_rock.gif]
