my friend has a 93 mr2, he claims that his radiator is under his hood, is this possible since his engine is mid rear ??

 

I highly doubt it. I just can't imagine coolant hoses running all the way to the back. On the second thought - he's full of ****. Do you imagine how long it would take for coolant to circulate if the radiator was that far away?

 

it is true. they never (should i say hardly ever)overheat ever. a pontiac fiero is like that too.

It's true, it's in the front. I think there's also windshield whiper fluid up there... I remember seeing a resivoir and I think that's what it was for. My friend had one but ended up selling it because it had so many problems.

 

It's in the front, most mid engine cars are like that... NSX, Lotus etc.
