Not within a reasonable time frame. The test said that the theives gave up after 35 minutes. A theif isn't going to spend more than a couple minutes trying to steal a car. It's a fairly con****uous action. It seems like good idea, but I would be afraid of those pins breaking off the key. I'm not getting rid of my Viper 791XV just yet.

yeah, these same types of pins are in the back on keyboard wires and I've bent and broke some before, so the same idea is behind it

i dont see why they cant take it out, if the car ran without it before, it shouldnt be that hard to just remove it.

True, but if I get the top of the line alarm, as LEVIII said, the Cobra system, it'll be a major bitch to dis-arm that, then try to **** with this, I mean I'm dropping... so far $5,000 into my civic, plus installation, and most likely a turbo, I don't want it to not be guarded like Fort Knockers

from what i gathered from reading their page, the ravelco is wired into the car and when the male plug is disconnected either the fuel pump, the ignition circuit, the starter circuit, or the computer is disrupted and will not work until the ravelco is reattached.
