I think that depends, where i live, every one knows every one (by their cars) and only "tuners" around here would know enough about our "gadgets" so if some one stole my car, i would have about 12 people to check out....normal people wont even try to steal our stuff....and theft isnt a big problem where i live cuz every one has at least one gun in their house, and most even carry one in their car...i just stick to the knife in the car, all my guns stay at home.

 

like ej6buddy said, if they want it bad enough they will take it alram or not, but if you do invest on alarm first, that would help it to prevent the thieves to even think about getting into your stuff in the car, if you dont have an alram that will just be easier for them to steal it, its your call bro, its your money and car, but if it was me, i'd invest on alram first, its not just protecting your in dash its protecting the whole car as well, like is sumone hits you while you r parked somewhere, i might not make sense, but.... i know what it feels like to get somewthing stolen from me lol

 

^^ agreed, like for me, im not worried about my stuff getting jacked, but if i lived in a larger city, that would have been my first mod...or just had one from the factory.

 

I would have to get the alarm first. thats just me. i only trust people in my "inner circle" with anything of mine. but it is your call.

 

Some Douche nozzle broke in to my car and attempted to steal my head unit unsuscesfully i might they didn't get anything out of my car but i digress Flip out the security tabs on the cage to lock the cage then put bolts in the side of the sterio that's what i did all they got is nothing

 

I just do car insurance. What would I know?

 

^ dude, me two, i guess thats why im not too woried about it. as long as my car is locked, i get a new stuff if mine gets taken... they would have a pretty easy time staling my face plate, but that would be about all they got.

 

yea i got my indash stolen a few months ago. stilldidnt geta new one. cant decide which one to get and im waiting until my brother gets his car fixed and doesnt need to use my car nemore.i cant wait to get one because i still got my components waiting to be put in......
