Default anyone here good with RC cars or electric stuff?

yea, so im interested in getting into the hobby of making my rc cars go faster, but i know nothing and i need help
links and information would really help, im using a 6 volt rc car

this video inspired me

im thinking maybe something like a supercharger because of the belt system on an RC car seems more achievable

So you are wanting to supercharge an RC car? Just go Nitro and it will be fast enough. But I hope that you have tons of extra money laying around. It is one of the more expensive hobbies you can get into.

as a fellow friend of HCF....and an owner of one of those very fast cars.....stop right where you are and think no further of wanting to b involved with these things. First of all everything is made specifically to break.......no lie, everything will break no matter how hard you try not too.....secondly, all parts are extremmely expensive and you spend 97% of the time fixing the car and 3% driving it, until something else breaks then ur back to fixing it.........i spent 300$ for one of those, a Nitro MT2, went 55mph...i also spent over 400$ in one year on gas, replacement parts, and labor....because those cars are very different from real ones and unless you are a professional you cannot fix them urself.......if u get one u will eventually fully regret it..... i wish some1 said this to me b4 i got mine.......stick to real cars, put ur money into them. Finally lol a 6 volt RC car is not a 2 stroke engine that sells for 500$ plus.....and can go up to 75 mph.......lol just turn around and walk the other way PLEASE!!!! im just tryin to help!!!

Hell, why would you buy one when you can make one. Fabrication FTW!
