the gunmetal wheels are off an 03 wrx and painted

and yes mbrent, the subaru is 2.5L awd. expensive depends on what breaks. When the motor blew last summer, yeah, expensive

I can get parts for cost + 10%

And subie parts aren't all that expensive, it's just the labor if you take it to a dealer. For example, doing both head gaskets on a single-cam 2.5, the parts are a few hundred dollars. The thing that costs so much is the labor; a head gasket job pays 10.2 hours for said engine, multiply that by ~$89/hr and you have more than double what the parts originally cost (and that's including markup on the parts).

*edit: and yeah, a motor out of an Impreza RS would be a N/A 2.5L. What I'd love to see is a 3.6L from a newer Tribeca in something like a WRX... that ish would fly .

Some of 'em like to do drive-by posts, but most don't stay around. Don't know how many of them are that OG though. Most of them are '06/'07-ers. JHS just started posting again and Flip posts every once in a while; seems like everyone else moved on.

Hey Tony,

The Subaru has been amazing! A few gaskets have needed replacement here and there but other than that she's a champ. Especially now having a motor with 10k miles on it basically.

It was rebuilt with a few sti goodies and runs like a champ now!

Only downside of it is I crave moar powaz!

All of the OG guys seem to have no Civic in their lives.

true story.

Its hard to have the same car for 5 years. Although I am planning on keeping my current subaru for autox and rallyx and upgrading when I finally get out of school.

This is what I dream about daily
