apples are slow...
Don't get me started, comparing clock speeds between macs and PC's is like apples and oranges (no pun intended). Advertized clock speeds have no real world value when it comes to real world benchmark tests.
Mac processors compute more per clock cycle, so when you do the math, they are faster.
This is the ONLY reply I'm going to make to this thread becaues I'm tired of being drawn into mac/pc debates either online or at work. This is like cobalt owners vs. civic owners. I've been a mac user since the LC.

I'll take a PC over a Mac anyday. I live in the real world and i DON'T do any video/picture/sound editing. I have an ipod that stopped working after 3 days of use and thats the first thing ive bought from Apple.
This is not a joking matter, this problem has been driving me up the wall for well over a month. (and definatly not an issue with my ability to use itunes which by the way is uneccissarily complicated). The problem with my ipod is that it decided that it doesn't want to boot up anymore. I'm sending back to Apple to have them fix it.
