I take my oil the the quick lube place by my house. They have a sign on the sidewalk that says we take used oil.

ummm

that sounds a bit like that scene from Fight Club where they are putting up a billboard that says "Did you know that used motor oil is good for your lawn?"

no it really is good for it

just rub a small amount of used oil ( has to be used motor oil) on the plastic trim on the outside of the car i.e bumpers or front or rear lips

and it brings them up so nice gives them a great shine and last for ages i always use it

forty, go make a nice fire, and throw it on, i did this with like 7-9 gallons of oil, we just kept filling up laundry soap buckets, and finally disposed of them, had about a 35 foot fire, a fire cheif came, told us to put it out, we didnt, and got drunk instead!!! so, it sounds like a good idea...

we also use the old oil and antifreze as a weed killer in our gravel driveway

why recycle it

but anyways i know thiers pleanty of places that take old oil..... lets face it they sell the old oil!!!!!!!
im to lazy and cheap to take our old oil in! but i also live out in the country with a gravel driveway in the rear...... but if ya live in the city or dont have a gravel driveway just take it in for recycling.LMFAO
