well i got a virus on my computer,i actually got it through msn by opening a file[:@](stupid me) but anyways, my computer is all fixed now and i did some searching on the free virus program called AVG from download.com, they give it 5 stars and all the user reviews are really good..before i download it i just want to see if anyone has it on here and what you have to say about it

i use AVG and i have never had a virus since.. *knocks on wood* deffinately worth the price

 

i have norton and ive had a couple of viruses norton got them off

 

the only thing Darryl Norton = $$$. AVG = Free.. and anyone i know that has used AVG has never had a problem

 

I have AVG. It works really well. Before I had Norton, then Mcaffe and this one is just easier then the rest. and it works. Get this, adaware, and spybot search and destroy and your set.

 

what are anti-virus programs???

 

yea i know tim but i got a deal on norton it runs out in feb then i'll try AVG

 

they scan for any viruses on the you computer and if you got them they can fix it. also i have AVG on my PC and it's great, i have norton on my laptop ONLY b.c AVG didn't like my laptop for some odd reason. The software company that i work for actually recommends AVG to our customers.

I have been using AVG for about two years now. I love it. Anybody use Firefox or Mozilla? They are WAY safer, and free. Plus you can get tons of free downloads to add stuff to them.
