Bank Loan !?
Well my car is getting the better of me and I am going to go crazy if I don't dish a whole lot of money into it soon! I will be having about $2000 in paychecks coming in soon but most of that is going to go to what I owe my mom for my teg ($1400 - CDN though). I'm thinking of getting a bank loan and going crazy.. springs/struts, sway n strut bars, exhaust, turbo kit ($1400 will be getting it soon hopefully), fix my rear window.. the tint is pealing.. and that would keep me happy for a while.
Wondering if you guys would say go for it, or talk me out of it. I know Chimera would be all for it haha but maybe some of you guys have had bad experiences with bank loans and stuff. I do have a full time job for the rest of the summer which I bring it about $900 every two weeks which is good for a student and during school I will have a part time making about $300-400 every two weeks.

How soon do you think you'll be able to pay it off? If you think you can do it in a year, I would just sign up for a credit car that offers interest free for a year. That's what we're doing with our house mods
OMG I'd be soo up for that.. I'm deffinately going to look into that! I'm sure I could pay it off in a year. The urges I have right now to put money into my babay is unreal.. plus school is coming around and I'm getting kinda sick of my current gf.. so I gotta be looking sharp.. hahaha j/k thats mean. Just kidding ladies, "she holds the key to my heart" .... .... .... .... bwahahahah! Anyways, I'm really going to look into that, I'm sure I could pay it off in a year.

sounds like you have a income like me
...i would say DONT take out a loan, dont buy stuff that you dont have the money for, just save up for the rest of the summer (not to many months left) and the winter and in the spring time you have all this money to dump into your car to get it ready for summer!!

ya right now im on a spending spree for my car because im trying to get everything i need to mod it this winter
if you can keep up with credit card payments, then get that
but a bank loan would be much safer

I'm gonna look into a credit card with a 1 year free interest rate plan and look into a bank loan too and see which would be the better route. And Mill$ I hear ya, but I know ill be able to keep up on the payments and even if I pay $100 on interest.. it's worth paying the 100 instead of waiting a year lol.
SHOPPING LIST!!!
Garret t3/t4 turbo setup
Tokico HP struts/springs
Strut and sway bars (probably ebay ones)
Magnaflow exhaust system
New tail lights
ITR Front & rear lip
ITR wing
HID Kit
That should be a good start. If anyones got any of these items for sale other than the turbo which I'm already purchasing, let me know (doesn't have to be the same brand that I listed). I'm hoping to get all this for under $3000

sounds nice ticker, just to let you know at the start of your credit card you will be given a limit. mine started out a 500 and after a month or so it got bumped up to 750 bucks. so thats something to take in consideration
You cant forget that with the turbo there are other parts that you have to buy, so I dont think that you would be able to get all that you wrote on there. ( I might be wrong but that is what I think)
The turbo I am buying is one that was pieced together by someone, it is not a factory kit. And with my income, including I've already got over $1000 to spend on my car, I'm sure i'll be able to get everything I've listed there.. that's the beauty of a loan.
