thanks guys, so yea anyways..... the engine is d15b and when they installed it, they didn't install the v-tec solonoid(luckily i have one from the y8 mini me i WAS going to do) and i also have a p28 that i can install too. so hopefully i can do those within the next couple of days, along with putting my 4-1 ceramic headers on and then later seeing about putting my Skunk2 manifold on.

i'm happy with how things turned out with the car, but i paid a dreadful price to get it that way. spent all my savings because i NEEDED a working car asap. if i had the proper tools and know-how, i would have done it myself....which brings me to another painful thing. i changed my head gasket about 4 weeks ago and it ran beautifully, then i had to run through a freaking puddle about 6 inches deep (thinking it was much more shallow) and sucked in a total of 1.5 liters of water!!!! lol

another thing is i would have sold the car but i have put in too much money just to sell it. i'm going to own it til it can't drive anymore. the k-sport coilovers i installed on the car are working perfectly and have made my ride much more enjoyable, i will be converting my CAI into a short ram intake, and now since i have a better engine, i won't have to worry about the mini me........which means i might think about going TURBO once i have some funds again. so now it will be fun learning a whole new area(i never even glanced at the forced induction section). woohoo. oh and for all of you still wondering when i'm getting the car painted, i will prolly take the body kit off and replace it with stock bumpers.

now that the car is running and sounding great, i will be following through with my plans to go to L.A. for christmas since i have no family near me to spend it with.

so if any of you have any suggestions before i even look into doing a turbo, feel free to tell me.

.......do i have to change pistons and such for a turbo even? if so, then i might just pass on the turbo. (i know this part prolly belongs in the forced induction section but its midnight for me and i just got off work so i'm a bit tired at the moment)

i dont tihnk you NEED to change pistons, but its add reliability and probably a little bit of power. I'm kinda reseraching the same thing right now too man, and GL with the boost. Tuning is the most expensive part i hear, and since you have a p28, thatd be prime to get a basemap and take it over to the dyno and get it tuned.

And as for the body kit, sad to see a kitted member switch to stock or lips, but come on man, atleast get an aggressive lip for that thing

hey man good to see you back here at hcf. sorry about the motor but its good that you got another one installed. for the turbo, you dont need to change the pistons if you run low boost with a good tune. also before you do install a turbo or even buy anything for it, i would do a compression test. welcome back to hcf man.
