Default Big decision possibly coming up....

Ok, many of u know ive been toyin with ideas for my car.......swap the trans, swap the motor etc etc.........well the other day i drove past a honda dealer, and just stopped in with a friend for the hell of it......I test drove an 06 SI......so sweet. The one i built online was about 20K, but my dad worked at honda for 14 years and is really tight with the general sales manager.....basically, I get the car for 300$ over what the dealer pays for it. I wont be doing anything very soon, but im going to look for a second bs job....I might just get the 06 si and call it a day. That means my car will be going back to stock form and going up for sale........Id end up selling the Greddy kit, exhaust, rims, and the 5 speed trans i got lyin around. That civic is so sweet man, the k20 really is as sick as it seems.

hm...well thats a tough decision to make. if you really really like the 06 si then get it pete. you know you can always turbo it down the road if you want to toy with the k series motor. i say go with what you want to do pete, i hope you come to a good decision. no matter what you will have a sweet car.

Prob wouldnt turbo it.......its hard to start messing with a brand new car liek that........a k20 with IHE will be better than my boosted D. I do want it, but ive never had a car payment.......paid cash for both cars ive got......im thinkin i can get 1500 for my turbo kit, and 2,000 for my car........thats 3500 right there, and id throw in 3-4K down too........hmmm......

The new SI might be cool but once you get payments you will wish you never did it.

wana give me ur turbo? i'd love to snag the new si...if i were u i'd do the same thing, return current car to stock, sell it, sell parts, get a second job in the mean time, etc...but also take some time to really think about it and wut ur future plans with the new car would be and how the payments will go. good luck bro

Like Marty said. Just make sure you can afford the monthly payments or you'll be suffering more of it than actually enjoying it.
