I would get it if I were u but then I wouldnt buy a new car. Wait till when the 07 come out, the 06 drops and try to loan from ur parents or something. Payment really does suck.

 

i hate to see you dropping the EX-T project because youw ere so determined to at least get a 5spd swap in...but the Si is sooo sweet it might be worth it. heres my suggestion: flip a coin. if you're dissapointed or having second guesses after you do that then you know which way to lean.

 

Keep your EG imo.

 

Hard choice. Its just seeing the new car makes me want it.....I can swing the payments.........I will see what happens....Even thou my car doesnt look like a 94, it is.......and i want something newer......maybe theyll have a 99 or 00 SI i can pick up cheaper......

sweet deal! yeah, i'd say if u really like the 06 si, go for it...that car is nice...handles well, and is definately an upgrade from older civics.

i didnt' really like the 06 civics when they came out, but the si especially has grown on me a lot...love the look and everything, and especially love the power

I just like the lighter, older cars. Newer cars are pigs. I do see where you're coming from tho.

 

before you buy it make sure you dont have to just "swing" the payments make sure u can easily afford it and the insurance and still have money left over. if you have to pick up a second job to get it then dont even think about it. what if one of your jobs fell through and you couldnt afford it? im assuming ud have a cosigner so theyd have to pay for it or get bad credit along with you

 

Whichever you choose... good luck, i know that if you sell the EJ1 that you will be able to very easily.. lots of people looking for them.

 

I really do not like the new 06's but I do like older models aka EK and EG's so I would suggest you to keep your car just for that reason.
