hm too bad that thing doesn't have an auxiliary input, sounds amazing but you can only navigate with the player itself.

if i leave my ipod in my car i used to put it under my shift boot in the console because it wasn't screwed down, so noone would ever find it unless they seen me put it there. i have the kca-420i adaptor and i hate it, it takes forever to scroll the the band you want, but the sound quality is freakin amazing compared to an itrip. in my civic i have a sony headunit and it has an input in the back so i ran the a/v cable that came with my ipod photo and pluged the red and white in and left the yellow one unplugged, and that sounds good and was free
i have the same thing. the sound quality is amazing but like you said it takes forever. it does because they have both odd and even numbers...because in america they use odd numbers in the last digit and in europe they use even ones. they designed the kca so it could work in both places.

Default What are the connection options with IPod and 2006/7 Civic

I have a 2007 Civic EX, it has an Aux input jack in it ready to go, what are the options for my IPod? Does anyone have the official Honda accessory...is it worth it? Should I just get a cable that will connect directly to this? What other options are there?

Installing the ipod to the deck is real easy, i did it myself. Sound quality is the best, but finding one song is soooo hard.
