I think I was too scared that something would have come up if I did it myself. It always take twice as much time when I'm working on something I've never done before. Changing my alternator seemed simple but it took awhile to figure out how to get it out of the engine bay.
I'm getting better gas mileage after the repair. I'd like to change my brakes discs and pads as my next project. I'll post questions in the other sections for that.

Brakes should go fast...one tip: There are two little bolts that hold each rotor in place...use an impact driver to move those...or press REALLY hard on them...otherwise they will get stripped...but they're only 60 cents at the stealership
