My wife wanted some ice cream from the store. So I was like yeah I will go because I have been talking about my C6 lastnight and today and wanted to take it out. Instead of going to the store right by my house I went to the one about 8 miles away and you have to get on the 4-lane. I got out to the red light and this 17 year old pulled up in a boost CRX. The light turned green and I stalled out lol and he took off. He slowed down and I went by him about 70mph and he pulled into the store behind me and we was talking. I said what do you have in your rex and he said a dz running 10 psi and I told him about my hatch and he said why would you have a civic with a car like that. Because I have always want one duh. Then he said well I would like to see how my car would do in a race with a vette and I told him that I have been drive my auto f-250 and loose clutch civic for the past month and the vette's clutch is alot harder. Well on this 8 mile of road there is nothing but trees and you can do about anything you want cause cops never go out there. The guy was really cool and said we will go up the road about a mile and you can take a few launchs and get back used to the clutch and we will play awhile. So i did and we drag raced a few times and I killed him but it was alot of fun anyway. He knew he couldn't beat me and it was all in good fun. After we got done drag racing we played the rest of the way home. One time I gave him about 6 cars from a dead stop and I caught up to him pretty fast and held into it and took my car to about 167. That was the fastest I have ever been and it scared the crap out of me. I also told him to check HCF.com out sometime.

Yea, sounds like a vette to me. A CRX with a d16 and 10psi should be really close to what you're running. Perhaps he lied about something.

 

I never looked under the hood but he couldn't have been over 285 hp max. I got 400hp. I have never dynoed my car but thats the spec's on it

 

that is pretty sweet, it is so fun to go faster than 120, ive only gone about 120-130 in a car, but i went almost 170 on the back of my friends croch rocket, and that gave me a really big adrenalin rush, but all i have is a stock 92 civic, and it only does about 118, cause i dont have a job to fix it up right now, anyways i am areally big vette fan, and i have heard good thing about thec6, i also heard that they didnt handle to well but who knows... anyway ttyl

 

I like the handling of it. I have had my cbr 1000rr up over 180 a couple of time but they say that bikes are off alittle after 140mph and its alot different in a car then on a bike.

 

thats cool..you have a c6 i didnt no that, you lucky to have that power..i bring my car up to 160km and im afard that somethings going to blow up so i keep it around 120-140

Its just a all stock C6. Nothing special

 

Oh yeah I was in know way saying that a import couldn't beat me because the guy that bought my prelude did in fact get me in the 1/4 of a mile.
