i have the v2 on my 7th gen and it says it has like an engraved sticker says carb exempt

In the pic its the sticker closest to the throttle body

it's carb exempt. you have nothing to worry about. if they send you to a smog ref you'll have no problem as long as that sticker is on your intake.
