Can we please act like adults
How so though? You can not drive a 7 second honda on the street, a 7/8 second muscle car can and are driven on the street. We are talking about 700, 800, 900, hell 1300+whp cars that can be drove on the street because the engines are not stressed to a point of breaking all the time(meaning they are not anywhere near maxed out. At this point I could show you vid after vid after vid and dyno's for days that prove my point. I'll tell you whyat, look into Nelson Racing or John Lingerfelter. Read up on the old 428CJ big block Ford's, 427 COPO Comaro's, the 426 Hemi's.
Respect?
Respect is taking a age old push rod design and going after supercars with it and winning.....on road courses, on drag tracks, at the gas pumps.

A lot of people dont know why Japanese cars have smaller engines. It is because they have higher tax for big engines in Japan. That's why even company like Honda and Toyota invented variable timing and improve their hp/liter. That's why high performance import cars like nissan skyline, Honda NSX, Toyota Supra only have 6 cylinders. Only recently when the US become their bigger market, you started to see V8s. Honda DO have V8.
I was not attempting to bash muscle cars my favorite car is a 1970 chevelle ss 454 but i drive a 96 civic dx i am fed up with immaturity that takes place and i just needed to vent and its funny that all i have to do post something drunk and boom 2 pages of responses lol enjoy flaming me for a while

I know that but those engines are based soley on engines in mass produced cars, kinda like the B18C and B16B are race engines at heart but based on the traditional B series. The honda V8 is based on and has no equal anywhere in the production honda line up.
So the poitn of this thread is to try to prove that V8s are better tahn I4s? Or to put it another way, someone posted on a Honda Civic forum saying that honda engines are not as good as V8s? Sounds like flaming to me???
Why? I think there is some rule about posting something only to **** people off.
If I am wrong about what this thread is about someone let me know please.
