Anyone else see the joke of a race today? WOW!! and I'm glad Kubica is safe. If you haven't seen the crash yet, google "Robert Kubica Formula 1 crash" and you are sure to find it.

speaks of the amazing safety technology they have employed on those cars. 170 miles an hour STRAIGHT into a wall, and only uncomfirmed rumors of a broken leg or sprained ankle. I'm glad he's not dead.

P.S. thanks again for the sig peg

man wat made it a joke of a race?? did you see lewis hamilton win with all the skill of an old master. pure class since he was 8 years old. Sato in the Super Aguri was awsome too. left the factory Hondas for dead for the third race this season.

Man The last 4 laps Sato was kicking ***, i didn't get to watch the whole race, but him and Hamilton kicked *** in that race.

And Kubica actually only got a sprained ankle and a minor concussion... man automotive manfacturers should take a page out of the F1 book in terms of safety

hell yeah^. That's my biggest beef with Nascar. It does absolutely NOTHING for the advancement of domestic automobiles, where as F1, Rally, etc have done so much for their respective mass manufactured friends.

LOL well it goes to show how much Nascar is so north American based, i was watching an older episode of Top Gear (probably 2003 ish) and they mentioned Nascar, and had no clue who Jeff Gordon was...

Oh, there's no doubt it was extremely entertaining. Just felt like out of the twilight zone or something. I mean it was AWESOME when sato passed kimi and alonso. But, tons of the race was run under yellow. Massa and Fisi black flagged. Kubica's scary crash. (thank god he's ok) Kova's horrible weekend and then weirdly good race. It was just weird-that's what I meant by joke of a race. There's no doubt it was entertaining to see lewis' first win, and the field get some shaking up in order. I was also disappointed that, at least where I live, there was no driver interview afterward like when it's normally broadcasted.
