lol....
hydrogen cars are going to be the future.....and the awnser is they are going to make the hydrogen throught hydrolysis...for the most part...
and I think you are missing the main point of this article..this car can run on hydrogen or gas making it the slow transfer over to alternitive fuel sources for cars...
The Idea of hydrogen cars has been arround for a while and every car company already has done a lot of work with them.....but this one is the first ive seen that runs on both gasoline and hydrogen.

RE: A CAR THAT RUNS WATER!!!
well hydrogen is the most abundant element in this universe yes... but there is more oxygen than hydrogen on the Earth... also both of these are most common in the form of water, but separating hydrogen from oxygen requires a lot of energy... so much in fact that it is currently more costly to use hydrogen than gasoline. Also water electrolysis (separating water molecules into atoms) requires lots of electricity, and if the nation were to use this source of energy, it would require a nuclear power plant in nearly every major city and an entire rebuilding of the power grid... hydrogen is not going to last as an alternative source of fuel... Since this process is quite inefficient, it is much more probable that we are going to use an electric car instead…

he basicly is saying everyones ********* are going to fall off if this happens and we are going to look like the people from the hills have eyes
