Can a paint shop mix up chrome paint? If so... could it be done on seramic tile.... its a long story.


Also... in the event that cant happen, can cermic tile be dipped in chrome solutions like the average metal bumper/set of wheels?

I've seen so called chrome paint but it always looks more like silver to me....not sure about them being dipped but I think that would be about the only way to get true chrome.

 

there is a company that can put real chrome plating on plastic or any type of material and it doesn't cost too much. but chrome paints never look good

 

Sounds like what you really need is a metallic glaze that gets baked onto the tile. I'd check with a tile store or ceramics shop, not a paint shop.

 

^yeah that makes more sense....the stuff they put on plastic isn't very durable but if they bake it on it would think it would be.

Its for my stepmother. A huge company called Water Works made them. And they dont sell them any more and she needs more and is willing to pay heavy to finish her kitchen.
