I believe they are made out of some type of "Lexan" material, which is supposedly more shock resistant than aluminium or steel. I kinda like the idea, especially if you got a big bad set of Brembo's or something you want to show off.

The only downfall that i can think of, is having to get all the way under your car to clean brake dust off the backs of them.

i got to admit thos things look pretty nice...but i doubt i would buy some, they would be hard to clean, and rims look better, gives the car more style
