Well, I don't normally race on the street unless it's for money, but these guys we're asking for it. Three guys and one girl were in a black EVO8 going down highway 94 in St. Louis. It's a stop and go highway with alot of lights, so many that I don't know why it's even called a highway. Anyway, they pulled up to a light next to me and I looked over at their car. I wanted to compliment on it, but they said they laughed at my "stock Civic." I drove along to the next light and asked the driver if he wanted to race for $50. He said "Call me when you break a hundred horsepower." He took off from the light normally and stayed next to him. He hit it and got the jump, I hit it and pulled about a car and a half on him before the next light. I asked him if he wanted to go again and he didn't even look over. Civic- 1. Stupid asses whose parents bought them an Evo 8- 0.

i jumped on the freeway behind my buddy in his 8, and we both gunned it and he was pulling away, but not nearly as fast as i expected. im hoping to get some cams, an IM, and a high comp head gasket soon, then i doubt he'll be the one pulling from a rolling start. did that EVO have any mods you could see?

2001 Civic EX, but it's has a heart transplant and a snail. And as for the modifications to the Evo, it looked stock to me, but I'm not an expert on them.

 

I think you gotta factor in the 3 people in the evo. But hey, that will show them not to mess with "stock" looking civics
