Don't get me wrong here, I own several, and I mean several firearms, consealed and unconsealable, but it's not really that big of a deal. You will still be able to purchase firearms. I mean, really, when would you ever need to use a fully automatic weapon or anything over a 50 caliber weapon? Not that often. A simple firearm will do the body good for defensive purposes, if that is what you own the gun for.
Have you seen the ammo tax bill that was wrote up by his minions? $.25 tax raise on every single piece of ammo, reloading tools outlawed and all reloaded ammo to be destroyed by 2011

Take Canada for example. When you buy a gun it takes a while to get it, you can't just walk in there and walk out with one, and when you want to use it for sport you have to give the government an itinerary of where you are going and everything and if you go somewhere you didn't tell them and they catch you you are in deep ****. Their crime rate is also a lot lower than the USA's.
