i been thinkin also of getting rid of my SRI cause it just makes an annoying whistling sound

no i checked. the sound is coming from the filter part. oh and another thing. what would happen if i cut off my stock cat from old header and put it on somewhere on the piping and got an o2 extension harness. also would that restrict airflow to a noticable difference

 

if it's coming from the filter it's probably because the ebay filters are trash
go to pro-civic.com and order yourself an AEM or K&N filter

yea, you can do that with the cat

i have an idea, order the muffler you want (just the muffler, for example a ws2 muffler can be had for ~$100 new on ebay) and take it to an exhaust shop with your cat and o2 sensor and extension harness (bring zip ties for the harness, don't let it touch the axles, engine, or the header or exhaust piping) and have them bend you custom 2.25" piping and weld the cat and muffler on.
