i can ethier get a civic ex or a 300zx2+2 which should i get?

 

do u mean 300Z TT (Twin turbo).......i love my EX but i have to say a fairlady Z TT would make me give it up.

I would grab the 300zx real quick over an EX because it all comes down to what base hp is and where you can go from there on the stock engine. What would be an even huger come up is if you found a 300ZX 2 + 2 turbo (those are tough to come across). Good luck with everything. Something like this would be SWEET!

 

Stick with the civic. The 300zx in unreliable, they suck to work on and they nearly all have been thrashed hard. The TT setup is good, but you will never get the same power from a TT set-up compared to one big single. Do a clutch in the zx and kiss away your savings, if u have an oil leak, take the whole engine out. About a 10 hr job. Not for me, but good luck.

i would be all over the 300ZX. I simply don't believe that those cars are unreliable. It's a nissan, which is just about as reliable as a honda. If 300zx is in a good condition and has a decent mileage, than I wouldnt even think twice

 

The only way you should take the Civic is if it already has a GSR swap or something. Otherwise, a good quality 300 will be almost as reliable as a Civic. Just get maintainance updates from the previous owner to find out when it had its last clutch, tires, brakes, HG, TB, etc. If it takes you 10 hours to pull the engine, you shouldn't be working on cars... And just out of curiosity, which generation of 300 are we talking about here?

 

regardless of reliablity i would take that 300 not only are they amazingly beautiful, theyre quick too, and o ya you'll be able to sell it for what you paid for it since they are not made anymore.

 

The 2+2 is NA unless it has had a complete turbo engine swap done to it, or if you live somewhere other than the US(almost every other country got a TT 2+2 [:@]). The NA 300zx is almost 100% more reliable than a TT.

Regardless, they are completely gorgeous cars and our Civics will never look as badass as they do!
