this is a used, 2004 subaru impreza wrx. 150,000 miles. the car has $6500 worth of performance upgrades, with paperwork to support this. all work was done at a high performance shop, by a subaru certified technician. i'm selling this car cause i can no longer afford the payments. only onquire if you're serious, i dont wanna waste my time. the cd player is busted, radio works though, and the car needs one of the following: new/ used 5 spd trans, or 6 spd sti conversion.
the car is a beast. it ATE 2nd, 3rd, and 5th gears, though 3rd was fixed. the engine has too much power for subaru's glass, weak 5spd. full boost is what destroyed the gears.
for a list of modifications, please inquire.
kbb tells me the car goes for around 14,000. so i figure with 6500 in mods, and only needing a 1500-3000 dollar transmission, you're gettin a deal here.
1) this is my roommate's car.
2) the kbb value is actually $4-6k depending on condition
3) $14k is for an '04 with 15k miles, not 150k miles
4) he sheared the teeth off 3rd from his driving
5) he sheared the teeth off 2nd after a mud run
6) 5th gear is perfectly fine. He put the transmission back together wrong after replacing 3rd and hasn't had 5th gear since
7) He's running a stock STi block and wrx heads. It's never been on a dyno and he has no proof it's actually more powerful than a stock wrx.
8) He's at stock boost
9) he forgot to mention it has a salvage title

He turned down an offer for $4,200 yesterday lmao... to be honest, I'm not 100% sure it's a salvage title, but I'm pretty sure I heard him comment about his car when he found out the mustang had a salvage title.
He honestly thinks he'll get $12k for a car that needs a transmission, too.
