Well we went to the local cruise-in spot last night (burger king parking lot). i got the around 9:30 and as soon as i pulled in everyone came up to the car and said they had a race setup around 11. it was going to be between a dodge neon and a ford probe, both have cold air intakes and thats it. well i guess the guy in the probe had some beef with the guy in the neon so my buddy who has a crx said that if he beat the neon then he would fight him. apparently the dude in the probe had something against my dude in the crx. well usually on a decent night like last night we have like 15 cars at our spot but i guess when everyone heard about the race they started calling everyone they knew. at like 10:45 we counted 60-70 cars in the parking lot with about 150 people. well 11:30 came and the guy in the probe called up and said that he was on his way, as soon as they hung up the phone the 5-0 pulled up and was like no one is fighting or racing tonight are they? and we were like no sir, just out to have a good time. well they sat in the parking lot waiting for something to happen. bout 5 min after the cop pulled in the probe showed up and we were like, ok, this isnt gonna happen now because everyone wanted to watch and if everyone left then the cops would be on it like white on rice. so i told the guy in the neon to get 15-20 cars to pull out at the same time and then them two go out and race, then come back so they would follow them. well that went really well but i guess the directions got screwed up and the dude in the probe got lost and about a half hour later they both came back with the dude in the probe really pissed of because he thought the neon chickened out. they were like 15 guys ready to throw down, all of em sayin come on dude hit me, lets go, all that b.s. well anyway then calm down and set up another race so everyone heads out there and my buddy in the crx has a popo scanner and when they were lining up the call came out over the scanner saying something about racers on the road they were at so he yells out the popo's are coming. after that everyone scattered and came back to burger king and my buddy in the crx came into the lot hollering and cussing becuase the dude in the probe called him a snitch. so he said call the p.o.s out here and lets get this over with. 10 min later the dude in the probe pulled in with his entourage of 8 guys and they got out wanting to beat someones or anyones @$$. well my buddy in the crx said i want D (the probe driver) so his buddies were like, thats fine but as soons as somebody jumps in, were jumping in. so them two went at it with my buddy in the civic woopin his @$$. it was pretty funny, all that sh*t talk from the probe and he ended up getting his butt kicked. sorry for the long post but it was really funny how we had like 150 people there wanting to witness this and by the time they got down to the fight there were only 30 people to witness it and no race ever went down. drama drama drama

 

dude WTF! lol that's hilarious... is there always **** like that going down or just a normal meet or whatever?

 

its usally pretty calm with the occasional street race, last night was the first anything like that has happened

 

Got to always be careful man a kid i used to be friends with when i was a freshman in highschool just got stabbed to death last night in a fight. And a few months ago a friend of mine got a gun pulled on him at a street race. I live in the country as well it is getting crazy in the world.

 

crazy stuff I guess, I think guys fighting for the simple reason of fighting is plain stupid IMO. One lucky punch and you could kill the guy or be killed. I deal with that kind of stuff everynight at work and have had knives pulled on me and the last thing I ever want to do is get into a fight with someone cause you never know whats going to happen. I think your friend and that other guy need to do some growing up, regardless of if they have "beef" with one another.

wow, that is a crazy night, here (in MT) we hang out at a checker auto parts store...and in the last 3 nights, i almost got in a fight with about 6 dudes, (and a couple girls were yellin at me), and then i wasnt there the next night, and last night, to girls(lesbians) were (verbally)fighting, over a bunch of drama(then there was a few pushes) then more yelling...(the drama is about one of the girls gf's, and the other girl, is the girls that aint there(s) (army boot camp) ex-gf...so yea, my friend who works there had to break it up, and he might be closing down the lot (atleast to quite a few ppl that are drama causers)

lol sorry for the thread jack... stay outta trouble, try not to street race to much either!!! just to throw off the cops...lol... j/k

 

well im not big on street racing. i have never actually been in a staged race, just some spontanious light to light stuff. i wont go watch them either, ive seen to many videos were cops end up blocking the roads of a street race and ticketing everyone they get. so everytime someone i know races im the one who stays behind and watched over the "show cars" in the lot.

 

oh, well right on...i do street race, but we go way outta town, and there is wheat fields on both sides, so you cant really wreck into anything(like a building)...still not a good idea, but i like it so...
