A customer is setting up his new Air Receiver Tank in preparation for his new Air Compressor. He asks his sales man "where should I put the pressure relief valve on the receiver tank? You told me put it on the side of the tank(which is mounted vertically) but shouldn't I mount it on the top of the tank?"
The salesman stated that it doesnt really matter where its placed as long at it discharges away from anyone who is near.
The customer replies " Well, it should be at the top of the tank because thats where the pressure is the highest"
