Anyone know of any good digital cameras between the 2 - 3 hundred dollar range. I'm familiar with Canon, HP, Sony and a couple of others. I want something that will last a while and takes good pictures. what do you have and how much was it? Thanks for the input.

 

Pentax. I got my Optio 3.2 MP for like <150. Unless you are doing professional photography theres no point in getting something over 4MP. Save your cash and put more in your car.

 

that's cool. I'm not planning on doing prof. photos. Just your basic photos.

 

I vouch for Pentax aswell. I have the pentax optio WP and its awsome. good quality, easy to use and its waterproof.

I say the Sony DSC-W5. Fastest digital camera I've ever seen (really, you won't believe it). Plus it's perfectly sized, 5MP (unbelievbly good looking pictures) and almost invincible. eBay.

 

Nikon and Canon are both good.

 

What kind of price are we talking about for the Pentax?

 

i have a HP, its very good,fast and lots of options..a little expensive tho,but i didn't buy it

 

F that. Go to circuit city. I went there looking for a digi, and DEFINETLY left happy. I got a sony cybershot 4.1 MP for like 115$. It was an open box, but who cares, they warentee it. Pics are pretty good too. Thats the camera i used to take my videos too.

 

For Pentax you could definately get one for like 100-135.
