i just bought a nikon coolpix 4100. a friend of mine has a 2100 and relies on it for work, and i have used it on many occassions, and it has alot of very useful features, and it is very userfriendly. i paid 160 ish for the 4100, shipped, with insurance.

I have a Sony DSC-T1 5.1MPixel and it's small, slim, and best of all fast. I use mine for taking pics of my kids a lot, so I needed a fast startup camera. I had a Fuji Finepix before, but it was slow and by the time I turned it on and it was ready, the kids were in another room......lol.

ok...so i got my camera today...Nikon 4100...i dont know a whole lot about cameras, but from what ive seen, i am pleased. its very compact, and does a minute of video and sound without the memory card, but we plan on buying a big memory card for it, per a friend of mine who is familiar with them. it has, what i consider to be, a good editing program on the camera, and you can enlarge pictures and isolate different regions of the picture, and it does so without losing clarity.

i forget what i have but it is 4.2 megapix for $200 not bad at all i think it is samsung
