BMW started putting heated leather in the 3 series? Like what model years had it? Any help is apprciated please and thank you. Tried to finnd but I did not find ****

 

I thing it may have been the E36's

 

what does that translate into model year?

 

i believe that the E36 began in 1991...but im not certain when they started coming with heater leather. my E34 has heated leather.

 

K cool I am looking at picking up a 96-98 328i kinda depends on what happens today

 

My dad just got a new 328i. Well, he's leasing it, he had an accord but he decided to lease the BMW now. Haven't seen it, but it sounds pretty sweet according to all the stuff he was telling me about it on the phone.

 

i was looking at a 98 328i before getting the 525, and the reason that i did not, was the auto trans...with that trans, the 3 series was a real pig...get one with a manual trans unless you have some physical issue that prevents you from driving a stick shift.

 

^^^ I kinda do hence why I am looking to sell the civic, I have a bone growth in my knee that when under alot of use rips through the muscle causing some pretty bad pain, And know they are telling me it is highly likely that the growth is cancerous. Becasue of which there looking to put me through around 3-4 surgeries in the next few months and in the end I will probably not be able to drive a stick for the next few years. They have known about this growth for a long time but they just found signs pointing to it being cancer this past friday.

 

my moms 93 bmw 325i had beige leather seats

 

i think that BMW has offered leather seats pretty much forever...but not with heat.
